Thanks I appreciate the compliments and I like it too...the only drawback is if I ever need to get to the lower amps I have to take it all completely apart and the wires are all integrated into the wood...I ended up routing the underside to tuck the wires and I put these little metal plates to hold them in so you don't see anything dangling with the exception of in the very back by the pillars is where I ran the wires down to the next level. Hey if you don't mind I wanna use your "TOWER OF POWER" quote for it...I like how that rolls off the tongue lol.

All the pics I care to show are right here in this thread...basically I bought the legs at IKEA (lol they have something for everything haha) and attached the amps to the shelves...the underside of each shelf is routed out as a cable organizer and I have everything running down through holes in each shelf by the rear pillars into the bottom chamber under the amp rach which houses my 2 Kinetic HC800 Power Cells and my Tsunami Digital Fuse Distribution Block and of course the mass amount of wires and circuit breakers in there...basically my friend told me it looks like R2D2 got sick and threw-up in there which is why I don't wanna show pictures. If you wanna imagine size of the chamber...it can basically hold 3 of the Kinetik HC800 Power cells and a few wires. I also thought about adding one more shelf under all 3 amps and throwing my Nintendo Wii under there and something told me not to do it and it was a good thing because for starters that TOWER OF POWER is freaking HEAVY and it barely clears the factory Bose amp I have under the rear parcel shelf whew so the Wii will go elsewhere and yes I have a PS3 too in there for shows. See my 24" monitor thread in my signature for details on that build.

Keep up the comments...I really wanna see everyones reactions on this as I have never seen it in-person before and if you know me, I like to be different and unconventional in my modding...its what being unique is all about.

Looks great man.

As we mentioned on the phone, I would look into a cross flow fan

That's sick man. Nice skills. My favorite is how you used the ports as supports for the amp rack.

^ Thanks and another revision is in the planning stages lol...I think I'm gonna be known for revising my work lol. Don't worry however, the amp rack and speaker won't change...I'm possibly adding a better mount for the PS3 and Wii and its gonna look very similar to the amp rack maybe then I'm gonna add additional monitors to really make it look sick.

Well I know its been a while since I posted but now I am officially sick of this setup lol and its gonna go once again. The sub floor speaker enclosure will STAY and everything else is going to be redone especially the amp rack since I am getting overheating issues with the NINe.4s go figure and theres no real feasible way to install fans and make it still look good so its going to be redone. Basically what I'm doing is moving the PS3 from the right side of the car to the left but instead of it being mounted vertically, it will be horizontal and in a custom fiberglass/plexiglass cradle. The right side will house the 2 NINe.4s in a stacked design but with much more space and will have fans and be completely enclosed in fiberglass/plexiglass. Then the NINe.1 will unfortunately be hidden on the back wall in a vertical mount in between the smokestacks and the monitor will actually be mounted in front of it since its current location is putting a great deal of strain on the monitor. All this movement will pave the way for more monitors and speakers in the trunk lid which will be a lot lighter than what it is now.

I did consider many different ways to work with my current setup but no scenario worked that well especially in this weather so I'm redoing it all again and hopefully this next setup will be somewhat permanent. I'm also thinking about much higher grade covering materials other than felt like crushed velvet, suede, velvet, Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, etc. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Serious question... How did you 'measure' the volume with an enclosure like that??? Towards the beginning you mention measuring it, and then using the divider and measuring it again.... did you guess with lengths or what? if its a noob question, forgive me lol.. I just certainly think you didn't fill it with water lol

Also, very nice design, both amp set ups look really clean. I hope you can keep a similar cleen looking design. I am planning on doing something similar, only keeping my spare so only a false floor, but not enough room for my amps probably (nine.1, 2x nine.2). Although I really like my mid/highs to meet or exceed the power of my bass (nine.1 +13.av2) So I wish they still had nine.2x... I might end up going with nine.4 and bridging it, haven't decided yet. But I also have 2 7.kv that I'm going to be using as mid woofers along with the 9.65 components.

I was thinking, if you get a good quality cross flow fan, and covered your amp stack in a removable box-top, cover of some sort... most likely with a clear plexiglass front of completely out of clear plexiglass... Then make it so the cross flow fan is covered and somewhat sealed to that 'box', so it would seperate the ambient air around the amps from the rest of the trunk, and force the air from the crossflow fan to circulate air around the amps and replace it rather than just blow on them. The fan could be used as in intake port, or in an exhaust port, or put one in both... An even more complex idea would be some sort of hidden routing that is like a 'port' to your cabin area for the intake. So the air around the amps would be seperated from surrounding air in the trunk, and it would pull air from the cabin to cool it as well rather than the trunk where it would just be blowing hot air from the amps back into the trunk. just some ideas?

My apologies about Buffalo Wild Wings...there will not be a meet this month as I am extremely busy getting ready for a big car show in a few weeks.

psychoticSER - well there are many ways but what I use to measure my volume is with packing peanuts and I convert the cu ft into gallons to measure the peanuts. If its fiberglassed over completely, you can measure with water which is the most accurate way and thats also a good way to check for leaks.
My amp rack is getting changed because I cannot find any real good way to cool it and yes your suggestions are great but I cannot do that because of room so what I'm doing is a similar design but the NINe.4s will be on the sides of the trunk and the NINe.1 will be vertically mounted in its existing location so I can mount my video monitor in front of it. The reason I'm keeping the stackable design for the NINe.4s is so I can fit my Playstation 3 under the one on the left side and my Wii under the one on the right. I've been thinking of a way to incorporate both systems for shows even though only one can be used at a time unless I add more monitors. That's my plans for now. Pics will soon come.

How about a water cooling setup like a computer? Run smaller Diameter tubing though that can fit in the ridges in the heat sink? Make it glow blue.

I like it... a small pump to get the fluid moving, then pump it through a small radiator (like a small transmission coller) and you can even put a couple small CPU fans on the trans cooler to cool the fluid. Notice the key words here are SMALL.

Now that's gettin' serious

It's actually been an offering that was done by one of the big companies, but I've seen it done on a custom scale before. All you have to do is take a look at the water cooling guys in the PC world and do a little research into what they like the best and how many GPM you need to move and the size radiator linked with like 2 110 MM fans.
