as the title says, im builing my first ever box. its for a 16ov, and will be fed with a nine.1. im going with a 2.2cu @ 30hz, one of the ed predeisgns. any of you experienced box builders have any advice, tips or tricks?

ive already cut out all of the pieces witha table saw, and cut out the 14" hole.
ive got screws, liquid nails, caulk, and weather striping for around the sub.
definately wil predrill.
6 pack of guinness: check

as far as a finish fo rhte box, i was thinking vinyl. only problem is, i dont htink i have a countersink for my screws, so is there any sort of thin foam pad i could glue on the box to cover the screws, then vinyl over?

thanks in advance!

Do you have any good clamps to hold everything together while screwing it? I myself didnt so I just had my brother hold it while I used the brad nail gun.

You can use like 1/2" or greater bit to countersink if you want to take the time. Just go lightly.
Polyfill is used to underlay vinyl. Good 'ol walmart stuff.

u can use the light panel carpet to underlay vinyl also; get a heat gun if you dont have one because the vinyl will stretch a little better and it will be easier to handle.
