Considering we are almost to February, and we'd like to see as many of you here in Newton, Iowa as possible we are opening up the discussion on the weekends that it is viable for us to hold the Meet this year.
Weekends we are looking at:
July 16-18
July 23-25
We figured if this was settled by the end of February, that vacations can be planned and we should see a decent amount of you here.

Either works for me! Why not both?
I picked the earlier one just so it is here sooner.

I like the way you think... and voted appropriately.
Is it July yet?

I like both, I agree with the earlier weekend because it is closer. I know Alex may lean towards the second because it would be Birthday weekend for him.

I can see the meet being a good place for a BDay celebration... either week works for me, as long as we make a firm commitment to the date before April (or so).
And for my surefire way to make the date seem like it gets here fast....
I commit to having a 19O or 13A in a spare-tire well enclosure (made partially of fiberglass) while at the 2010 meet.

First weekend I'm scheduled to be in Minneapolis, and the second one I'm probably going to be in San Antonio.

Second weekend is the opening weekend of EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, WI. I'm leaving Saturday with my daughter...
So my vote is for the first weekend listed. Might be good to show for the first time in a couple of years. Might even have to bring a new noisemaker or two.

You have the 3rd and 4th weekend to choose from, no way of making it?

These dates are pretty locked in. By probably, I meant, pending natural disasters.
I meant the first and second weekend to choose from. If that wasn't clear.

I voted the first weekend, but either works for me. I'm hoping to have an internship in Niles, IL at Shure Audio, which would make the trip to IA much easier. If I don't get the internship, I won't be at the meet unfortunately

Also be thinking about what you guys would like to see from us this year. Last year we did 2 A7-900's. I don't think we want to do that again this year.
So start throwing out some ideas.

A kickball game at the park!
That would be a blast.

I wouldn't mind hearing a 5.1 EL setup.

O, Yeah. That is a must.
Can they be matched with P7 - 650's?
Kick ball sounds fun, but only if we do it after taking shots I want to be at the table serving ice tea this time though.
