ahhh since they dont fit i guess i have to hack the doors and reinforce with a few inches of Mdf. So my question is... what is the best combo to reinforce the door?

the plastic interior panels? The BEST way to do it would be to fiberglass the backside of the door. Definitely not the easiest though.


I for my xB I ended up making a 1.75" baffle and cutting the speaker grille off the door panel to clear the front of the speaker. The speaker is about flush with the door panel. Now I just need to find a way to make a stock looking speaker grill that will give this lil beast enough clearance.
