It's about time to start building again. I've had the amps for a while, but have definitely been slacking.

I need to shoehorn 2 E5.10's and both of my Zuki Eleets 4's in the back of the box, cleanly, neatly, and creatively. My stipulation is... I want everything to be seen.

I don't want bling bling show car crap, but it needs to look cool and be visible. Stealth just isn't a possibility with all this equipment, so no point in trying.

Any ideas??

Shoot me the dimensions you are working with and the dimensions of the zuki amps and I'll come up with something wild and something normal. You going to go ported with the e5.10's?

I thought for a second that you and SoCalsFinest duked it out and he came out victorious but I see that is not the case. Welcome back

ALL: I've talked to alex and brett a few times on the phone, but yeah i have been out of the loop. Work and school got crazy, and... so did the partying.

Brett:

1. Haven't decided between sealed and ported. Just based off the specs, it seems they'd do pretty well vented. But you can't go wrong with sealed.

2. Dimensions of back hatch: 37.5" wide between shock towers, about 15.5" height at 15.5" deep. That'd be the max unless the amps were somehow floating above.

3. I wouldn't be at all bad with the idea of using a "modified" version of the xB dual 13kv.2 box. I've always kinda liked the look of that thing.

How about the Dimensions of the Zuki amplifiers so if I'm in sketchup I can be as accurate as possible?

oops, thought i forgot something.

Zuki's are 16.5 long by about 10 wide including mounting feet by 2.25 tall. Big bastards.

I'm open to anything really. If i don't think i can fab or cut a certain piece, i also have no problem having eD CNC it for me. My router took a dive, and i don't have a table saw anymore so... anything complicated I'd rather just have you guys cut and i can assemble it.

For the amps, you could do two 3 inch pipes coming out from the center area of the sub box, making a v. The wires would be ran inside the pipes and he hidden and the amps would be angled in and forward. Subs would be under amps firing rearward with a three inch pipe coming straight up just past the ends of the amps for the ports. The pipes would basically make a M with amps in the V of the M.

Hey Joey,

Which direction do you want the e5.10's to face? Towards the hatch and fairly close to it to try and avoid cancellation or how does the hatch area on the xB work for that?

brett, i've always found it seemed "louder" loading off of the rear hatch. My 13av.2 ported did better in that configuration.

Rear wiper was an issue, but i can always delete it or add even more eDead. i've already got almost 100 sq ft of v1 and like 40 of teklite, plus some random second skin damplifier in areas.

I've two normal designs done, well most of the way done at work. Still working on the crazy version. I'll shoot you the sketchup for the normal one's tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Sounds good Brett, thanks a bunch. I have a few ideas in mind too, so the more the better. Maybe i'll throw mine up for critiquing as well.
