$600 = part of 1 week (after tax?) for a summer job? I wish I had that kind of summer job!

I managed to snag an internship with Micron for the summer, I'll be getting ~$1000 a week after taxes.

I'm thinking I might go with a new set of midbasses when I upgrade as well...possibly try my hand at fiberglassing my doors.

It's actually right next to each other when you look at it. Take a look where it says Bridge on the amplifier.

Preorder like the SQ10?
We are currently undecided. We actually like not doing preorders. Now that we've stopped doing them for the most part people keep asking us to do them again.

This is our first extrusion tool as well which has taken a little time. That's the major production hurdle however. Once we have all them in stock we'll likely consider this option if people ask for it.

Baybe I missed it but is there a selectable bandpass filter?
Sure can. High Pass / Low Pass / Bandpass / Full are all options.

I love it. It's going back in the car now...

Nice, not many amp's take the time to set it up like that.

I think people like the promise of a lower price with a pre-order, rather than just the first in line-ness of it.

hey just curious I am still thinking about this, but ideally I would like to hide it under a false floor. Set up 1 or 2 fans to get some air circulating under there and then be done with it. Think it would make it like that?

I was just clarifying, but good to see that the bridging option has been thought of thoroughly

Awesome amp thats gonna sell well. Seems perfect for most customers wanting to power their entire system w/ 1 amp. I personally am not interested in it due to size and sub channel output not being enough for an Av but still very impressive.

Congrats eD Crew!

$1000 a week after tax is nearly 78k a year, gross.

That is a pretty nice internship!

Yep.

I'm not too excited about moving out there for the summer but the experience and the money should be worth it.

$78k? That seems a bit high. Remember, I'll pay less in taxes b/c I'll only be working for the summer. The rest of the year I'm at school.

Ahh, I assumed about 1/3 taxes.

by the way, if it is western idaho, make sure you go into the walmart in Nampa, ID and wreak havoc.

Actually it will power a 13Av.2

You can use 300w on a 13Ov.2 and it will be louder than a 13Kv.2. With a very conservative 600w same theory applies.

WOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO....you guys are going to break me

I could easily use one of these in the truck AND the Prelude.

Any information on the weight of this beast? The Prelude is going to be a track/weekend driver so weight is a concern while also maintaining a bit of comfort (i.e. still has a nice sounding system) Although, losing the power steering, A/C, and cruise control could possibly make up for the weight of a Nine.5

Great to see that it is released. I actually got 0/1 power wire last summer specifically to get this amplifier. I was lucky enough to see it yesterday in person. Great job eD.

Yeah im sure it would sound great but i would prefer to run it at full potential off a nine.1. Also i dont have 3 ways in my front stage for an active set up...if it was 2x100(instead of 4x) and move the rest of the power to the sub channel i would seriously consider one...that is if there was anyway i could fit it inside my tiny coupe.

Ben, any idea if a nine.4x (100x4) with HP/LP/BP will ever be in the works. That will be perfect for most active setups.
