i need help finding some place i can buy those tension latches that are generally found on the front of tool boxes and tackles boxes.... no luck finding them.

Hmm...what would be best for your application...

I'm sure you looked at the obvious at partsexpress.com:

Are those drawbolts or latches what you're looking for?

We were both looking at Home Depot/Lowe's

I suggested them because I bought those for the amp rack back in the day at Menard's.

I could donate the ones off the wood in your garage.

Yeah, we use them for a lot of stuff at work. And if they don't have it then Grainger or MSC usually do.
